Due to Poor Air Quality - Office closure We will be closing the office for the remainder of today. The hvac system has pulled the smokey air into the building overnight and the smell is strong. For the safety and well-being of the staff we will be closing the office. The phone system will advise of the closure, staff will continue to do computer work from home. Good afternoon Missanabie residents, visitors and band members abroad, MCFN would like to address the current weather and fire conditions in Missanabie Ontario. Current information from Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests states there are two fires that are being held Northwest of Dubereuiville, Ontario. Fire: Wawa014 & Wawa016 are being held are being monitored for changing conditions. We are aware there is heavy smoke and ash falling onto the community of Missanabie.

This is a notice of blasting at Renabie mine starting at 5pm, today 24 June, 2026. A pre-blast meeting will be held on site prior to the blast at the Safety Trailer / Muster Point location. The meeting will be led by Liam from Fraser and will review the blast plan, exclusion zones, communications, and safety requirements.
