NOTICE OF EXPLORATION ACTIVITY
In February of 2023, Alamos Gold Purchased the Manitou Gold Exploration Minning claims which are located just north of the MCFN reserve boundary.
This Summer, Alamos Gold will be initiating their first independent examination of the property which is predominantly a soil sample project.
I am providing this notice as our community can expect to see an increased presence of Alamos Gold Vehicles and geologists in the area.
Please note that our Department is working to ensure proper mitigation controls are in place as to preserve our aboriginal treaty rights and protect culturally significant areas.
The attached community notice provides some information on their plans for summer 2024.
