Receptionist – Family Services

Missanabie Cree First Nation’s Family Services Team is looking for a Receptionist to be responsible for handling clerical tasks. You will be handling incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting membership and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office clerk duties and errands.
The successful applicant should have a High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and criteria:
Experience as a receptionist or in related field an asset
Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary
Excellent computer skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Programs
Ability to file according to office procedures
Warm personality with strong communication skills
Ability to work well under limited supervision
Ability to multi-task
Handling incoming calls and other communications.
Managing filing system.
Recording information as needed.
Greeting members and visitors as needed.
Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word processing.
Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
Assisting in coordinating events as necessary.
Maintaining office supply inventory.
Maintaining office equipment as needed.
Aiding with client reception as needed.
Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.
